THE BUFFET at Wynn, Las Vegas – The best quality buffet hands down for breakfast
Hours of operation: Breakfast Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 10:30 am
If you haven’t seen the Wynn Hotel and Casino you should use their breakfast buffet as a reason to visit this beautiful wonder. While $17.95 is a little expensive for breakfast, the Buffet at the Wynn is a nice splurge and it will leave you with great memories even if the slots don’t. All the standard items are there with an abundance of fresh fruit and deserts to wrap up the meal. Menu items change regularly but the selections are always great. On my last trip their section of homemade ice cream and sorbet included several standards as well as mango and it was outstanding. The salmon and shrimp were nice touches as were several other exotic non-traditional breakfast items. Their made-to-order omelet station always has lots of choices. The quality, selection, and setting make the Wynn buffet the hands down best buffet in Vegas for breakfast in a city full of poor buffet choices.

Trevi – Great Italian Food at a Reasonable price
Forum Shops Caesars Palace
3500 Las Vegas Blvd. S.
Las Vegas , NV 89109
Hours of operation: MON-THU & SUN 11:00am-11:00pm – FRI-SAT 11:00am-12:00am
The Trevi Restaurant formerly Bertolini’s is a great place for Italian food in a casual or business casual setting. It is located in the forum shop area of Caesar’s Palace near the fountain of the gods. To start the dining experience warm rosemary herb bread with olive taponade is brought to the table. The Trevi has a nice selection of appetizers including crabmeat, spinach and artichoke dip, bruschetta, and eggplant parmesan, however, a trip to Trevi is not complete with their calamari fritti (fried calamari). They have some of the best calamari I have ever eaten. It is served with a spicy caper marinara sauce. They offer a nice selection of entrees including chicken marsala , lasagna, and wood fired pizzas. If you have room for desert try their crème brulee or if you’re not in the mood for crème brulee, around the corner from Trevi is a gelato (Italian ice cream) stand that makes for a nice finish to diner.
Olives Restaurant in the Bellagio – Great place for a casual lunch or dinner in a beautiful setting.
Hours of operation: Everyday 11a.m. – 10:30 p.m. – Reservations (877) 234-6358
This is great insider place for lunch. It is not cheap but for restaurants in the Bellagio it is very reasonable. Try to get a table near the windows for a great view of Lake Bellagio and if you go in the evening you will have a great view of the dancing fountains of Bellagio. Hey but it’s not all about the atmosphere! The food is unique and tasty. For starters they will bring an assortment of Italian breads with both green and black olive tamponade that is excellent. Even if your not a big fan of green or black olives your will love their tamponade. Olive’s has a nice selection of flatbreads which are kind of like a thin crust pizza. They have a Portobello Flatbread with wild mushroom puree, herb-roasted portobello mushrooms, red onions, fontina cheese, and white truffle oil. However, my favorite is the fig & prosciutto (Italian Ham) with gorgonzola cheese flatbread. I know figs and ham don’t seem to go well together but take a chance and give this flatbread a try it. It is outstanding! Olives also offers some great pastas, steaks, seafood and an extensive selection of wines from Italy , Spain , France and the US . Getting a table a lunch is not always difficult but dinner can be another story. Make a reservation so you are not disappointed and enjoy this relaxed fine dining experience.

Tired of casino buffet food? The Blueberry Hill Family Restaurant is the place to go for a great quality breakfast with real homemade pancakes and I don’t mean homemade from a box. The wait staff is friendly and fast to top off your beverage. It has such a hometown diner feel that you will think you are in Mayberry , North Carolina . Few Las Vegas visitors know about these family owned restaurants but all of the locals know where to go for a diner style breakfast with large portions, a great price, and 100% Columbian coffee. There is always a list of specials to choose from if you can’t make up your mind from the menu. You can’t go wrong with any breakfast choice you make especially if it’s the fresh blueberry pancakes. If you want pancakes but blueberry doesn’t sound appetizing you can choose fudgy chocolate chip, sweet banana, fresh strawberry, fresh apple or their standard old fashioned buttermilk pancakes. The waffles, omelets, french toast, and fruit crepes are also wonderful and will keep you full until dinner. Speaking of dinner you don’t have to wait until morning for breakfast. Breakfast is served 24 hours a day.
